
Shareholders of BVMAC-listed Société africaine forestière et agricole du Cameroun (Safacam) will receive a total dividend payout of CFA 442.1 million for the 2024 fiscal year, effective July 18, 2025. The information was disclosed in a statement issued by BVMAC Director General Louis Banga Ntolo on July 14, 2025.
According to the statement, "net coupon received by stock exchange shareholders is CFA 1,780, for a total dividend of CFA 442,152,000 (four hundred forty-two million one hundred fifty-two thousand)." It further specified that with the "register closing date set for July 18, 2025, Safacam shares will trade ex-dividend starting Tuesday, July 15, 2025."
For the fiscal year ending December 31, 2024, Safacam, a subsidiary of the Luxembourg-based Socfin Group specializing in palm oil and rubber production, reported a net profit of CFA 2.78 billion. Therefore, the dividend distributed to shareholders listed on the BVMAC represents less than 20% of the net profit.
