Cameroon’s General Directorate of Customs (DGD) plans to collect 101.8 billion CFA francs in revenue this September. Nearly 90% of that total is expected to come from the Littoral I and South II customs divisions, according to the targets assigned to each jurisdiction.

The Littoral I division, which includes the Port of Douala, Cameroon's main entry point for goods, is projected to collect 57.2 billion CFA francs. At the same time, the South II division, which covers the deep-water Port of Kribi, is expected to generate 31.7 billion CFA francs.

Despite the ongoing separatist conflict, the Southwest region has a revenue collection target of just over 6 billion CFA francs. In the Northwest, another Anglophone region affected by the secessionist demands, the target is the lowest in the country for September 2025: 20 million CFA francs.

In 2023, the DGD collected 1,019.8 billion CFA francs, surpassing the 1 trillion mark for the first time. The customs administration projects a total revenue of 1,144 billion CFA francs in 2025, an increase of 88.1 billion CFA francs from the 1,055.9 billion CFA francs collected in 2024. This forecast represents an 8.3% year-on-year increase.
